Usually with an issue like this, we’d just raise the limits slightly to reduce the number of server restarts, but this leak is so huge that we can’t possibly do that. Fortunately, when Clanforge restarts a server it forces a save of the world, so you shouldn’t lose any server data due to this issue.
We’ve contacted the developers Facepunch about this issue who have confirmed that they’re working on a fix,
With early access titles like Rust there are often issues such as this one that need ironing out, but it’s all a part of the process of being directly involved in the development of the game.
