The roleplay begins at the small docks of the secluded town of New Reach governed by Lord Berckwood, a Landlord who was sent out in search of a new world, and colonised the surrounding lands. The colonists were supposed to be assisted by a second fleet, arriving from the great ocean, but the armada never showed up.

The colonists ended up stranded and alone, but against all odds built a new civilisation. In due time, a town was constructed, a keep, a farm , etc.. until the land could truly be called a New Eden.

Shortly after, the civlized world found the colonists again, and word of their survival and their new Eden spread to the known world, tempting new travelers to sail the ocean, and start a new live in the new world.


This is where the player begins. Recently dropped off by a ship on the docks of New Reach. The landscape will only hold a number civlized areas. A town , a stronghold, a farm , etc.. The rest of the world remains 'unexplored'.

The roleplay is more of a sandbox than a real story and lore based game. Players will have the oppertunity to settle their own times, build their own civilizations until different factions arrise, thus creating rivals, and perhaps at some point even war.

The game begins as you can tell ,in a very small and held back manner, and as the community plays, grows out to be a grander scale. We want the player to have a great impact on the story, not just play our tale.

The roleplay is a Realism focused hardcore RP. Not only does this mean all buildings have to be somewhat realistic in terms of foundation and supports, but this also means that when you die, you are forced to create a new character entirely. More about this is explained in the rules on the website listed at the end of this thread.
