Just a little documentary about felix, Felix The Cat made his first appearance of March 5, 1919 in the cartoon "Feline Follies", and in this he was not felix, he was given the name master tom. This was well before the time of Mickey Mouse(1928) and even Oswald the lucky rabbit(1927) Since then, he was one of the most critically acclaimed character of film, and his classic cartoons are concidered to be fine pieces of historic, and surrealists art. It wasn't until Disney released steamboat willie that the episode brought the cats popularity was pushed back a bit, due to Mickey's use of sound.
