Just what the headline reads. - Sometimes the forums are just too wide open
to have a civil descussion without interruptions.


I myself prefer to keep the conversations public, but there are times when
that can be difficult because someone shows up looking not to contribute
but just to scrap. - And there are times when one wants to have a broader
discussion than would normally be appropriate or acceptable in an 'open'
forum.

I love kids, and I've always had a soft spot in my head for newbies (and
under-dogs) - This place is for vets, but room for newcommers also to
share ideas on FC in particular and the art and nature of FPS in general,
including game design and tech info.

There are seperate forums here for each of the above to make it easier
on the reader and to find just what you want.

I'm hoping that the good spirited and even tempered will gather here and find
a home and sustenance easily here that would normally have to be searched
for in the forums. - Please feel free to contribute here with anything you
think might be interesting provocative amusing - whatever. - Share a little bit
about yourself and experiences in the FC world.. - Please, feed the tiger !

Warm welcome ! - Any suggestions on how to make FC3C better would be
greatly appreciated. - I don't expect anything from members and I hope they
don't expect too much from me for these first few months at least. - I have
many 'Real life' commitments and have to budget my time carefully.

(I have ideas about forming FC3 teams for multi player in custom maps
created by members, and learning about setting up a dedicated server
just for that purpose. - All this stuff is completely new to me.)
