ABOUT The Badlands Exile Community

Exile Tanoa Survival - Craft, Build, Scavenge, Kill, Survive!

This is the official Steam group for the Exile Tanoa Survival server - as provided by BSB Network.

Our priority is to simply provide stable, consistent and challenging server for Exile fans.

We're an adult community that's based around players who have been gaming together since 2002 and have had experience hosting A2 (DayZ/Epoch/Overpoch/Wasteland) and are massive fans of the whole sandbox survival genre, especially the A3 Exile mod.

We were directly involved with the development of the Exile mod and are part of the community administration team over at www.exilemod.com

Our admin team is very small (currently 5) but reliable and have a high sense of integrity. We pride our selves on our honesty and sense of fair play.

We're offering this server simply because we have high standards ourselves, and know how frustrating it can be to find a decent server that is well administrated, consistent and that doesn't just disappear after month when the money runs out!

We also aim to offer something slightly different to the regular Exile servers and are primarily offering a Tanoa experience with more challenging conditions that will appeal to those who are looking for survival environment and longevity.

This server is NOT the complete article and we hope it NEVER becomes so, our goal is to keep developing it and adding more features and content to prevent it becoming stale. However there are many features and scripts we are currently looking to implement imminently which are discussed on our website forum.

Feedback and suggestions are always welcome, especially from experienced gamers or those with serious admin experience!

Just a quick update on how our relaunched Exile server is going...

Since re-opening and updating the server has been geared heavily towards PvE game play purely because the population suits that. We also added Zombies (only in infected areas on the map) and this has proved popular with players by adding atmosphere and a genuine threat!

Activity has really started to pick up over the last fortnight with several randoms playing regularly now, it would be great to improve on that by getting some of our old regs back.

RELAUNCHED!

We are delighted to announce the official re-launch of our public Exile server!

Due to rejuvenated interest and the recent announcement of the mod's continued development with much anticipated new update coming soon, we've relaunched our server (previously the Badlands Server).

We've reconfigured it and geared it heavily towards a survival play, featuring lots of environmental challenges, enhanced crafting, better building, customisation and cooperative based play. This is all supported by advanced AI patrols & missions, bespoke traders and spawn locations, a base painting module, virtual garages, capture point missions, additional crafting recipes, more loot items and extended base building module.

Another key feature of the server is that we've removed the ability to steal player flags, meaning players cannot troll base owners when they're offline anymore by constantly stealing their flag!

Base, and even safe raiding is still possible, but entire territories cannot be jeopardized on our server, which means those who enjoy base building can be a little more creative with their designs.

Many further enhancements and improvements are planned to be added to the server but the server is in a stable and playable state and open for play now! No additional mods other than Exile are required and your feedback and suggestions are welcome via our forum @ www.bsbnetwork.com
