ABOUT We Want Fair €uro Prices!

Steam has priced itself out: €uropeans, buy your games elsewhere!

Valve/Steam has been giving warnings to people who are sending "too many" gifts to their European friends.
The internet replies: "I see Valve’s problem from a monetary point-of-view (games are cheaper in Russia & USA than in Europe), but I think it’s hypocritical of Valve to use the advantages of globalization, while prohibiting it’s users from doing the same."

Question: if a game costs 59.99$, why do we Europeans actually pay about 78.36$ for it?
(Because Valve/Steam converts prices to Euros as they are, and 59.99€ ~ 78.3649$ atm.)

Another game, 49.90$ -> 49.90€ ~ 65.18$ !! The list goes on, AND IS NOT FAIR.

We kindly demand REASONABLE €URO PRICES, and until we get them, we are here to provide links to authentic and legitimate businesses and retailers in the €uro-area that ACTUALLY SELL THE SAME GAMES CHEAPER.
It's absurd that I can get the game on a physical disc, delivered to my home, for cheaper than I could get it directly from Steam as a digital download. And with the included Steam-code, a few key-presses later it is integrated into my Steam Account anyway. Ridiculous.

In the name of free pricing and competition, we aim to distribute awereness of the price inequality, so people can stop paying more than they should, and/or educate of alternative game stores for us €uro-customers.

We welcome anyone, €uro-area or not, who supports free competition, dislikes injustice and prefers fair pricing over discrimination.

I suspect in my region that our government might be part of the problem. 'Local business protection' despite the fact that neither myself or anyone else I know ever buys game software from local retailers. I'll be researching this issue and follow up when I get an answer, but I think Steam may be bound in some areas by international trading laws.
