This project come together as an offshoot of the Weird & Wonderful Game Watch.

Over at WWGW, we found ourselves focusing more on adult content as Steam's policies thankfully changed. Though given the broader focus of the group, we had to temper coverage (and hold back) so as not to supersede our purpose or isolate that audience segment turned-off by turn-ons.

The solution necessitated the rise of an empire. With Erotic Games & Mod Empire (and one of our reviewers moving over permanently to run it) we're able to fully curate the wide array of adult titles on Steam we've tried. With a clear central focus, we attract a targeted audience most interested in, and benefiting most from, the informative recommendations provided.

Along with reviewing new/upcoming adult works we're able to check out at EGAME, we're currently going through past recommendations from WWGW to add updated/targeted versions to EGAME. Meanwhile we're catching up on relevant titles submitted for review at WWGW that we either weren't able to cover, still intende to cover, or that slipped off the radar at the time.

And WWGW will continue shining the occasional spotlight on adult titles expected to hold a lot of cross-appeal among both audiences. Though each curator provides different recommendations for each audience catered towards the areas of interest and relevant information.
