Dear D2S members,
Since the school has decided to bring the D2P lobbies back, and we would like to keep the school in continuous improvement, we have decided to open lesson lobbies for all general roles (Supporting, carrying, jungling..) and specific roles (Warding, Stacking/Pulling, Drafting..). We would like to know what kinds of lessons you guys would like to have and we shall try them out together.

Dota 2 Lobbies are being hosted again!!


After a long time we decided to host again some D2P - Lobbies although they gonna be a bit different than you have known them from the last time.
These lobbies are gonna be hosted starting from today by our moderators: Same, Neru, Sarah and Beaverknight.
They are no FFA lobbies like the last time and are created in the first place for beginners. So dont expect that anyone can play in them. Everyone is invited to watch these games but we dont want to see any experienced players stomping newcomers. Also spectating the game and disturbing the game by giving unnecessary comments, flaming etc will be punished.

The rules are pretty simple: - NO Raging, flaming, inappropiate(sexual, racism, etc) comments (as a player or spectator)
- Dont leave the game (even if its just a lobby) without a good reason.
- Dont disguise (with a subaccount) to stomp beginners!

If we see any of this happening the person is gonna be banned from ALL of our lobbies and future projects (also the ones going to be hosted in the future)

Every beginner or inexperienced player is welcomed to join this lobbies. You gonna see the announcements in our steam group "D2P Lobbies" . If you have any further questions feel free to contact our moderators that are mentioned at the top.

Greetings Folks I am taking a break from my position, I’m tired and got no more fresh ideas for this school so I will be taking a break and during this time period I won’t have any position in d2p.
While I am gone and from now on Jinkha will be the leader of The Dota 2 School and hopefully more because he is a great leader and an intelligent person

When I first got put in this position in November last year I had no clue what to do, me and the rest of the “Heads” demoted inactive mentors and thought about having a fresh start from January.
But we still hosted a 1 v 1 Tournament in December I would say it was a minor success. While we still had a lot of problems within the mentor staff.

I experienced the whole situation stressful and I tried coming with some suggestions. But I did some mistakes recruiting mentors while I shouldn’t even bothering to recruit mentors while the current staff were not doing ♥♥♥♥.
I started more and more to care about myself and my friends and less and less to care about the school.

While I still did have communication with some of the mentors that I know were doing stuff such as Flax (SEA) mentor he has all alone for like 3 months had 10-13 students and no one to help him but me and friends.

Now I have been thinking of this for quite some time and. Yes I could have done more, but what could I have done without changing everything and by everything I mean everything I would have kept 3 or 4 mentors and set up a new system. But I even if I did start to work on a new system I would not have the time to complete it.
And it would be hard to get it completed due to lack of communication in between the mentors.

This is not a resignation but it’s just me stating that I will be not doing anything for some time but playing CS GO and Dota 2 with friends.
But if The mentors, Head mentors, Nexus or Students wants me to resign then I will do it because I care about this school and if you guys thinks that will be the best for the school I will do it.

if you Mentors really needs my help I will be there for you guys, its juts to message me.
And I do not care about if I get demoted during this time period I am gone. Because I know it will be to the best for the community.

Hi people, a simple and short announcement. In order to make a path for the upcoming changes within the school, I have decided to shut down the FFA lobbies and move them to another place. Since most of those FFA lobbies have almost zero "schoolish" atmosphere, a logical step would be to simply move them to another place (in case people still want to play in them) and make the necessary preparations for the upcoming changes, which should make a real school out of D2S.

Mentors and regular FFA players will have to move to the D2P's main group (3,7k members) and simply make announcements there, instead of here. So if you wish to get notified about the upcoming FFA lobbies, make sure to join the following group - http://steamproxy.com/groups/Dota2Portal
