That is the glory of giving! When you sarcifise for your community, then you can walk with your head held up high. Our belief in Germany is unshakeable! And our will is overwhelming! And when will and belief combine so ardently, then not even the heavens will deny you. It was an honor to lead the attack for you. The time shall come, when you once again can proudly state that you are German. When we look upon our history, we feel ashamed over how we live today. Our people had to suffer inmmensely due to the inflation...when millions of people were robbed of everything they had worked for their entire lives. Everything was instigated and achieved...and all the responsibility lies on the people who signed the treaty, 1918! It was not intellectuals who gave me the courage to undertake this giant task...but I can tell you this, I found the courage because...I've encountered two sorts of people during my life stime, the German farmer and the German worker. A new state cannot simply fall down from the sky...instead it has to grow from within the people. Because when I need loyality...belief...confidence...fanaticism...and commitment...then I must turn to where I can still find these values...and these values can always be found in the people themselves...in the masses of the people! Just as we're gathered here today...my young comrades...as part of the life of the people...so must the rest of the people. It was not always so. In the past, people did not want to understand each other. Each thought only of themselves. At best, their class alone. We have been witnessess to the consequences of this aberration of the spirit...In your youth you must safeguard that which you possess...the great feeling of comradeship of being part of the group. If you hold on to this, then there is no force in the world who can take it from you.
