Welcome to the DERP-Lounge. We created this group to give fellow ponies a nice and well-moderated chat to hang out and to meet other like-minded bronies to RP and chat with. Please feel free to join our chatroom, but behave nicely and maturely. Here is a list of the guidelines on how to behave in the chat (that's a shortened form of our rules, please look in the link section for a link to the full version of our rules).

0. Most importantly, have fun and have fun with others. Fun is mandatory.

1. Respect others and be nice to them. Don't grief or troll. If you have trouble with a member,
talk to them or to a Mod/Admin so we can solve the problem.

2. Don't spam the group chat (doesn't matter with what). Doing this will get you warned,
kicked or worse. Don't do any unreasonable violent, silly or random RP.

3. No Mary Sues, Power RP or forced RP.

4. Please don't bring personal drama into the group chat.

5. Don't post any adult content without writing "NSFW" (not safe for work) behind the link.
Make sure to add a reason why the content is to be considered NSFW.
Adult content in RP is allowed, but it should be made clear if everypony is OK with it,
otherwise take that RP into a private Chat or Chatroom.

6. Don't do something to somepony that they don't want. (Killing i.E.) Make sure that they
are okay with what you want to do to them.

7. Our admins are free to deal with violations as they please, though kicking/banning will
only be the last solution if we can't work something else out.

1. The main reason this Group was created is to give ponies a place to meet others without having to deal with Trolls and Flaming and of course, to have fun.
Always be nice to others, respect them and you recieve the other Members respect aswell.
Dont spam or grief others.If you have problems with other members, please talk to them in PM or tell a Moderator, so we can solve those Problems.

2. Its obvious, that spamming (Messages, Links, anything else) is frowned upon and
will most likely get you warned, kicked or worse.
The same applies to random RP in which you Act unreasonably violent, silly or
make impossible things happen.
We also would like to point out that Power RP/ Forced RP and "Mary Sueing"
(having an "Overpowered" Character) is disallowed and will be dealt with
according to the severeness of the violation.

3. Please keep out your personal drama of the Groupchat. While most would care for you probably,
it would be better and more comfortable
for you and everypony else if you consult a friend of yours in PM.

4. Adult content (Imagery, videos, other Media) is not disallowed (but not approved of either), but make sure you add "NSFW" (not safe for work) behind the link, so other Chat Visitors wont see
something they dont want.
Also it would be really nice if you point out WHY its considered NSFW (pornographic content i.E.).
Adult content in RP's is allowed, but please make sure that other Chatmembers are okay with its Content. If some are not, please consider taking the RP to a PM or Private Chat.

5. Killing somepony in a RP might be "fun" for you, but not to the one owning the character.
Please make sure, the owner of the character is okay with his
Char biting the dust (just ask them). If thats not the case, please reconsider and work around killing that pony (The Chat should be fun. Dying in fact, is not.).
That applies to other things aswell,dont do things to others, that they would not want.
