DBD competitive players are a special kind of delusional. They treat a broken, RNG-heavy, constantly patch-shifting game as a serious esport, brag about tournaments and scrims, and lecture everyone about “skill,” while wins often come down to busted perks, map RNG, or lucky tile spawns.

The funniest part? 1v1 custom games. They actually try to measure skill on randomly generated maps, ignoring that pallet layouts and window spawns completely dictate the chase. On top of that, 1v1 means absolutely nothing in a 4v1 game. Dead by Daylight is not designed around duels, and pretending otherwise is pure cope. Only the full 4v1 context matters and anything else is just role-play for fragile egos. A 1v1 proves nothing about real match performance, pressure management, or teamplay, but they still act like it’s the ultimate proof of superiority.

Some team players make it even worse by treating each other like princes and princesses, constantly praising each other, coordinating overly theatrically, and acting as if the world cares about their perfect synergy. Outside the scene, it’s cringy, awkward, and exhausting to watch.

Let’s be honest: these people are nobodys. Who writes that in a résumé, goes around bragging, or actually thinks they’re someone? If Dead by Daylight is your life, you’ve hit a new low. Public matches are beneath them, and success in a game designed to be inconsistent is somehow “elite.” Italy is the city of love, not the city of ♥♥♥♥♥♥. It’s peak ego, peak irony, and pure cringe all at once.
