Relaxed, Friendly, Chill

STAR was founded in July 2025 after returning to Guild Wars 2 from a long break. I was tired of mega guilds that lacked social interaction, had inactive rosters just for numbers, and imposed rigid requirements that made relearning the game stressful. Helpful, patient players were hard to find. Wanting the kind of guild I once loved, I decided to build it myself—Celestial Ward was born.

Our focus is on community and social connection. We’re a relaxed, PvX guild that values all play styles. Whether you're chasing endgame content or learning the ropes, you're welcome here. There are few rules or requirements—at the end of the day, it's a game, and life happens offline too.

Gaming should relieve stress, spark friendships, and be fun. STAR aims to stay small (30–50 active members) to keep things personal while still having enough people for consistent group play. We engage in Story, World Events, Dungeons, Fractals, Strikes, Guild Missions, and aim to grow into Raids and Convergences. PvP and WvW are also enjoyed, though not our focus.

There are only two:
1. Be respectful - No matter your differences, we all share Guild Wars. Treat each other kindly.
2. Keep it clean - To keep the space safe and welcoming for everyone (including minors), avoid inappropriate content or behavior.

Repping is not required, except during Guild events. A guild event is when 2 or more members do something together (dungeons, fractals, etc.) where repping another guild is not otherwise required.

Discord and voice comms are not required, but please respect those leading events by at least listening in. Joining Discord is strongly encouraged for event notifications and voice comms when needed.

This Steam group is optional, but is to serve as a hub for guild members to connect in other games.

Violations and issues will follow a 3-strike policy: conversation, a temporary kick or permission limit, and then ban. You may appeal a kick or ban.

Saturdays at 10:00 AM - Morning Crew - early birds can hop on to enjoy the game together.
Saturdays at 7:45 PM - Guild Missions, the first mission will start at 8:00 PM. Meet in the Guild Hall. Attendance is strongly encouraged.
Other events happen spontaneously based on interest. If you want to run something, go for it—everyone is encouraged to lead!
