The next giveaway is taking the challenge up one notch:
A montage of your worst CS:GO failure/s.
We want every player with a way to record a screen, to upload their worst failures in CS:GO and let us see.

It can be done in three simple steps:

1. Record the event (or reenactment), and upload it to Youtube, Vimeo, GDrive, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, or any of a number of video sharing sites.

2. Put [CSGOAus] somewhere in the title, so we know it's yours.

3. Be voted the worst and get:

• Max Payne 1, 2, 3; or
  
• Payday 2 and Spec Ops: The Line

That's right, be the worst to win (You should all be great at this)

Hey guys,

with almost one month left to go before RiseUP, we still only have 3 teams registered for the event: Rising Tide, Vortex Australia and Ninja.
We will not be able to run RiseUP with only 3 teams, and as registrations close on June 1st, teams need to start registering now.
There are a lot of prizes, not just cash, that every team is in the running for.
There are also a lot of people who have sounded very interested in the event; however, interest means nothing if they do not register.

If you know anyone with a team that wants or would want to enter, send them there as well. We have a great event lined up, but no one to play yet.
If we don't get many more teams, we will have to down size the event this year. This would mean the prize pool would take a bit of a hit, and we won't see any pro teams coming in.

As always, it's up to you, the community, to make this happen, so let's do it!

In the lead up to RiseUP, we have made our template RiseUP poster. Take a look here[drive.google.com] and make your comment. The poster would be A1 (8x A4) and printed on 180gsm bond (Like a game or movie poster).
We are currently looking at $20 per poster with between $5-7 shipping. Would you be willing to pay this? What would you want to see for RiseUP?


Everyone can join RiseUP for one reason: It's free. You might not win but having a shot at free prizes is a whole lot better than a weekend of matchmaking. If you don't have a team, fear not, as we will be running open teams. (However, if you join an open team, you'll have to play with them for at least one day). If you really want to kick off your competitive career, try forming a team with some other players just for this event (Try posting in the discussions or on csgoteamfinder.com).
For the more professional players, RiseUP will be a chance to face off against real Australian CS:GO high rollers. Not everyone is going to win, but a chance like this doesn't come around every month.

So invite your friends, family, pets and neighbours, to make RiseUP 2015 a serious event.

And most importantly, JOIN http://home.csgoaus.com! We want to create a place for competitive CS:GO Australia players to meet, talk and function, so try it out, there are more features than you would expect!
