New master server

As announced before, Epic will shut down the official master servers for our game on January 24th.

But this won't be the end for us.

There is already a new community master server, built by the OpenSpy project, which will take the place of the official master server.

As a player, you have two options now:

1) Add any server you like to your Favorites (with right click). The Favorites menu works independently from any master server.

2) Switch to the new master server (many servers are switching there one by one right now). To switch your master server, you have to make a change to your ut2004.ini.
We are also using a mutator on CEONSS now which can switch your master server for you! You will see an info text when you join CEONSS now.

If you are worried about losing access to a server that is not using the OpenSpy master server (or you don't know which master server it is using), add it to your Favorites first, then switch your master server.

Epic will turn the master server for UT2004 off on January 24th 2023.

That means that the list of servers in the server tab will no longer be available.

Unfortunately, Epic has also decided to remove UT2004 from the Steam shop.

After January 24th, you will still be able to directly connect to any server if you know its IP, or to connect to any server that you have added to your favorites.

Here is CEONSS's new IP: 194.26.183.119:7788

Make sure to add all the servers you like to your favorites before that date!

Hi peeps,

Our host is switching IP providers, which will unfortunately result in an IP change for our server.

The new IP will be: 84.200.135.119:7788

Our IP address will change on Easter Monday (April 21st 2025).
It is the same game server, so once we make the switch, the current IP will stop working and the new IP will become available instantly.

Please save the new IP to your favorites now:
Click "Join Game" and change to the "Favorites" tab. Right click on the list and click "Add to Favorites". Add the new IP address 84.200.135.119:7788. It will appear as "Unknown Server" until the change happens.

(Players using the Gamespy master server should still be able to find CEONSS in the regular server list after the move.)

We want to make an other match event, open for all at 28.03. at 18:00 UTC. Further informations http://ceonss.net/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=1254 or on discord.

And the current server IP is 176.57.141.10:7788 and not the .143.200 anymore.
