Steam Workshop
Tripwire has just released Steam Workshop support for custom maps so all custom maps are now downloaded from Steam's workshop servers instead of our own Fast Download redirect. (Less work for me hurray )

Custom Maps
Older custom maps have been replaced and 9 newer custom maps have been added to the map rotation. Thanks to the KF2 Grindhouse Map competition, these maps are of way higher quality compared to the older custom maps.

Hello World,

We have added tons of mods to our server to maximize the building potential of your ship. Building blocks, wing blocks, interior blocks, small ship blocks and etc are yours to play with. There are even helicopters, airplane, and hoverbikes blocks.

In addition, we know that hydrogen fuel is difficult to use thus we have added some hydrogen balancers. This allows us to introduce Tiered Hydrogen Thrusters and with it comes Tiered Atmospheric and Ion Thrusters to balance the game. Feel free to checkout eveything we added.

Currently the 163 mods in total add up to about 1.3 GB in size. Estimated time for you to join the server is about 5 mins, and pressing G ONCE to load the modlist will take about 1 min. If you worry about the massive size of the mods, after you have loaded into the game and have pressed G once, the game should be as smooth as butter.

Every mod has been vetted and tested by me. As of 3rd February 2016, everything should work.

Below is the link to our mod list (Google Docs). You can click File > Download as xlsx to open in your excel for easier clicking and subscribe one by one. In case you are lazy, just join the server to allow the mods to download by itself. However I am not sure after you leave whether the file will stay on your pc or otherwise. No clue.

Because our DDoSer wouldn't stop DDoSing until today plus some of technical limitations, I've banned Vietnam from accessing our servers. Until we put more measures in place, we are sorry for those from Vietnam legitimately wanting to play on our servers.

We do not know what the DDoSer are trying to accomplish here; whether it is a bruteforce attack or just simply to flood the server. For those who are from Vietnam and are really keen to play on our server, add me on Steam and I will allow you to go through personally.

Dear players,

Due to sudden outtage of one of our server box, the games mentioned above have been experiencing some downtime in the past few days. This issue has be brought to me only recently and we are able to resolve the issue and restart all the game servers.

After the past few days of testing, the CO-OP Extended hardcore modded server is ready to be opened to the public.

The CO-OP Extended server modification aims to enhance the core co-op teamwork & gameplay experience by adding additional utility equipment, improving the AI, game mechanics, and various other aspects while keeping true to the original Insurgency co-op experience.

NOTE: Teamwork IS required - The enemy AI scales up to 72 AI combatants and that amount includes a fair number of suicide bombers.

In addition to the standard Insurgents, Elite Insurgents have been added. These Insurgents are equipped with a better loadout and are a bit tougher to kill compared to normal Insurgents. They can be distinguished by their custom Veteran look.

• Bulldozer - Equipped with the Bulldozer very heavy armor and wields an RPK.
  
• Martyr - A suicide bomber equipped with a suicide vest.
  
• Crackshot - Equipped with a silenced SKS and heavy armor. His laser attachment may give away his position.
  
• Recon (Insurgent) - Light class equipped with a silenced MP40.
  
• Pointman - Equipped with a TOZ shotgun & RPGs as well as the Bulldozer very heavy armor.

The Martyr Insurgent will seek out players and detonate his IEDs. His IEDs also have a chance to explode based on the following conditions:

• Taking incendiary damage
  
• Taking explosive damage
  
• Being hit in the chest

Headgear
A new category of equipment has been added: Headgear. Some headgear provide some extra headshot protection at the cost of extra weight. (They also make you look more tactical) A total of 10 hats/helmets have been spread out amongst the different classes.

Additional sights have also been added with custom reticles to provide some variety. These sights are much cleaner, so they cost more loadout points.

Extended Magazines
These weapons have had extended magazines added to their loadouts menu. The extended mags cost more loadout points due to increased ammo cap.

• FAL, M14EBR (Ext. Mag increases ammo from 20 to 30)

Armor

• Added medium armor for security as a bridge between Light and Heavy
  
• Selected Elite Insurgents (Martyr & Bulldozer) have their own class of very heavy armor.

Scaleable AI Combatant Numbers
Now the amount of AI Insurgents scales even higher up to a maximum of 72. There is also a chance that on every counterattack phase, the amount of Insurgents counterattacking will be infinite instead of a set amount.

Insurgent Reinforcements
The Insurgents will deploy reinforcements after some of the Insurgents have been killed.


Stamina System Improvements

• Performing actions now require stamina.
  
• If you get shot in the legs, your movement speed is temporarily slowed.
  
• The heavier your total weight, the greater your stamina drain.
  
• You are now supposed to build up a little momentum before performing a slide.
  
• Stamina & weight affect sprint speed.

Suppression System Improvements

• The effect of suppression has been intensified. (This works both ways)
  
• It is now easier for the AI to enter a suppressed state (Which means suppressing bots actually works now.)

Penetration System Improvements

• Different material penetrations have been modified.
  
• Materials that should have been able to be penetrated are not penetratable.

RPG Projectile Sway

• There is now a chance for Insurgent's RPG projectiles to slightly drift off-course in a random direction.

• The CO-OP Extended server shares the same maplist as the Brutus.SG INS Hardcore #1 and #2 servers.

• The CO-OP Extended server shares the same stats & rankings as the other Brutus.SG INS servers.
