British Leyland is an automotive engineering and manufacturing conglomerate formed in the United Kingdom in 1968 as British Leyland Motor Corporation Ltd (BLMC), following the merger of Leyland Motors and British Motor Holdings. It was partly nationalised in 1975, when the UK government created a holding company called British Leyland, later renamed BL in 1978. It incorporated much of the British-owned motor vehicle industry, which in 1968 had a 40% share of the UK car market, with its history going back to 1895. British Leyland Esports (formerly British Leyland AWPers Squad) is a professional esports and entertainment organisation headquartered in the Abandoned Triumph Plant in Coventry . Founded on May 30, 2010, the organisation has players from around the world, across multiple games, including Call of Duty, Counter-Strike, Battlefield, Team Fortress 2, Half Life 2 Deathmatch, Forza, Gran Turismo, Need for Speed, Mario Kart, FIFA, Valorant, Fortnite Battle Royale and Rocket League. In 2021, the organisation expanded into the Eastern European market, acquiring FSO and the Zastava Steal Works rosters.

Players are not allowed to use any other transport that is not made by the British Leyland Corporation and Team Champions are awarded with a free Austin Maxi with non-functioning lucas windshield wipers and an off-market stereo cassette.
