Alot of people are downloading the game right now. Here are a couple of important tips:

1) If Battlefield Bad Company 2 is still not showing as available restart steam and it will show as ready but not installed.

2) If it tell you the steam servers are too busy to download go into your steam options and select downloads. Next change your download location. I switched my location from dallas to the uk and it started downloading at 850 kb/s
