Follow this group's curator to see warnings of steam games with unscrupulous developer behaviour surrounding them, along with a report on said behaviour provided as a link wherever possible.

No, I don't accept review copies sent via Curator Connect, especially not for the sake of a cheeky self-deprecating joke like one developer tried. I appreciate the offer, but that kind of conflict of interest is wildly against the spirit of why I run this curator.

Previously, I tagged curator reviews as Informational when it was possible to play the game and not encounter anything related to the controversy being documented in the curator review. As of now though, for reasons of store page visibility and because I feel on closer examination that the difference should be visible enough from reading the reviews themselves, I've decided to merge all Informational curator reviews into the Not Recommended category.

Several old Call of Duty games that are up on Steam have known RCE exploits. One of those being Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the old one. The code capable of doing this is public and easily findable.
