The Town of Achtenbroek - 1401

Somewhere deep in the forests of Germany lies Achtenbroek. Nothing has happened much in this town, and it is quite poor. Peasents have been starving since Charlemagne, and a substinent life is normal. People never expected much, never having education or a life to live, but that is about to change.

It was just a few summers ago a young european showed up at the house of a town resident, offering help to them and the people of Achtenbroek. He claimed to be an aristocrat, seeking new land to own. Naturally, the People of Achtenbroek decided it best to accept him in order to better themselves. Now, Achtenbroek does have some key characteristics that could leap it into a booming town. Two rivers intersect on the way to the Danube, and a road although not travelled often sits in the middle. Using these could be key to their lives and future, but most importantly it is the will to survive. Will your family survive the harshness of the world, or will they fall with every other lesser being? Will you obtain sentience?

TToA is a Roleplay not unlike A World to Explore. A major difference is the time period, and others are in things like controlling a whole family, maintaing your family's economic being, and your lands.
