The 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (11th MEU) is a forward thinking, top tier realism unit founded by active and retired members of the united states and canadian military to bring a serious yet cordial unit to ARMA 3. Our unit is a Marine Air Ground Task Force consisting of a command element, a reinforced infantry battalion, both fixed and rotor wing aircraft squadrons and a logistics combat element. No matter your play style, the 11th MEU will have a place for you!


As stated before, the 11th MEU is a forward thinking unit. We take pride in breaking barriers in the ARMA 3 realism community. Our operations are not a set of loosely connected missions, instead our operations are up 24 hours a day for their entire length with major missions on saturdays. This allows our unit to conduct patrols and other missions whenever we want and have it affect our overall operation!


Founded in June 2017, our members wanted something different then the screaming and yelling that has become commonplace in today’s realism community. We wanted a unit that a unit that went above and beyond the standards of even the best milsim units and promoted a friendly and fun environment. To achieve this idea, we’ve cut out the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥! No addressing officers as sir or partaking in demeaning boot camps. Training is conducted in an academic setting where instructor is based less on replicating the real world basic training and more on teaching new players how to play as a marine in ARMA 3. From Amphibious Assaults to close quarters combat, our training is both cordial and realistic.
