Hi all,

Smurphy has posted an announcement to the DoP Steam group noting a decision that AG/DoP took about our combined groups -- I encourage you to briefly skip over there and read it.

The tl;dr implications for AG and this steam group are as follows:

• the servers have been cancelled as of a week ago;
  
• the TS3 server is still up, but will be replaced by a new private TS3 server*
  
• this steam group will shortly be marked as private/closed, with comments and the ability to create new threads disabled -- the group will remain for nostalgia and posterity.

* I have not decided what to do with the TS3 server -- depending on usage I may keep it up for a while yet. Let me know if you have any particular thoughts regarding it.

Virtue and I originally created AG in order to have an online home to come to at a day's end. It wasn't too long into running a server and a website that we grew to a second server, and we even ended up with the ocassionally-used third server.

It was a tremendous amount of fun over the last few years. It feels like right now I should be sad -- after all this community was a home, a place to find refuge from the hectics of life, work, and study -- but to be honest this feels only natural...

Communities of all sizes have their highs, and of course their lows. Some become inactive, only to blossom again some later time. While AG, officially I suppose, is coming to an 'operating end' now, I'm glad that it served as a node for people to connect over. I, as many others, have made many friends over the last 4 or so years.

For those who are still active and familiar with AG/DoPers, Smurphy will be creating new private group. For those who aren't -- hey! Pipe up! :)

Either way, it has been a blast. Thank-you for all the fun and exploshuns.

Hi all,

Eversio has opened up a second private server for DoP/AG members to use. Sometimes it doesn't appear in the server listing so you can access it by opening the developer menu with ` button (above Tab key) and enter the command I will list below,

Eversio's DOP Server #18 (private normal) - in developer console type in "open 168.1.21.60:7779"
Eversio's DOP Server #17 (private normal) - in developer console type in "open 168.1.61.207:7779"

password for both of them is "dop" as always.
