ACM is The Association for Computing Machinery Student Chapter based at Louisiana State University, and we are advocates for Computer Science and the students who study it in LSU's Department of Computer Science. ACM@LSU is a student run organization that exists to serve students, faculty, and the community by providing educational, social, and personal development opportunities for all computer enthusiasts. ACM@LSU seeks to augment the development of future computer scientists and professionals by offering networking opportunities and access to the resources of one of the largest and most recognized student organizations in the world. ACM@LSU strives to be a diverse group of students with computer related interests and to be the computer science group at LSU and in Baton Rouge. Membership is open to high school students, both undergraduate and graduate students, and professionals. In fact, our success is tied directly to the active involvement of all.
