After another event was cancelled because alot of people don't know what it means to be part of a team, I have decided to quit my active position as Zeus Operator @ iW.

I had some exciting missions with this group, unfortunately alot of you keep wasting everybody elses time and efforts by not attending, and neither communicate with us.

I don't blame anyone who can't join because of some emergency or so ofc, but apparently there is many people who think spending ~2 hours a week in general is too much to ask for.

I hope you are aware about the disrespectful behaviour you show those who take the time to prepare and attend.

I want to thank those of you who kept showing up regularly and especially Ben for the fun time preparing those sessions. I hope the attitude of this group will change, so that I can get back to make some exciting missions.

Apologies but due to a family problem I'm not going to be able to run the event for saturday as such I'm shifting it back a week.

On the plus side this gives those of you who haven't yet downloaded the updated mod pack an opportunity to do so!

Hey guys we now have a new server up and running.

Over the next week we'll be making sure everything is alright with it. Once it is missions will start again.

Hey guys,

Just a quick update on how things are going.

1. As most of you probably know by now I'm taking over from wonka as Plt Cmder so if you don't have me on your steam friends now would probably be a good time to add me.

2. The server is still buggered but we're trying to get it up and running. When it is I plan to get missions going fairly regularly again and would like your input on the sort of stuff you like.

3. Finally and perhaps most importantly as some of you may know Cpl Dale is buggering off to Australia for a year and Cpl Fraggla is missing. As such we're looking for some new section cmders. If you fancy it stick a comment on this. If we have more than one applicant per position we'll do a competition in PVP's when the server is running.

Evening all,

I'm writing to officially announce the change in the chain of command within 8 Platoon.

As of today, I will be taking a backseat within the unit and assuming the role of Company Commander at the rank of Captain.

The new platoon commander for 8 platoon will be former 3 Section Commander, Cpl. Ben, now acting 2nd Lieutenant.

I will continue to fund the Iron Warrior Company Dedicated server and Hunter will continue to run the Squad.Xml and the Teamspeak Server's respectively.

The reason for my departure from the post of Platoon Commander has been that I am now unable to fully commit my time and effort to the unit in such an active role, I hope that you all will continue to grow and excel under Ben's leadership.

I will be around for events as and when they are posted and will still attempt to organise events for both 7 and 8 platoon in the PvP and PvE spectrums.
