Non-commissioned officers (NCO) (Above Non Certified Members)

Private E-1 (PVT) - Standard recruitment rank, must go through Ranger School.
Private E-2 (PV2) - Has 5 Hours of service, passed BCT
Private First Class (PFC) - Has 10 Hours of service
Corporal (CPL) - Learned basic leadership skills within fireteam level , 15 Hours of service / Specialist (SPC) - Passed BCT (Basic Combat Training) as a Specialist
Sergeant (SGT) - Role model for subordinates; typically leads a squad. 20 Hours of service
Staff Sergeant (SSG) - 25 Hours of service
Sergeant First Class (SFC) - 27 Hours of service
Master Sergeant (MSG) - 28 Hours of service
First Sergeant (1SG) - 30 Hours of service
Sergeant Major (SGM) - 35 Hours of service
Command Sergeant Major (CSM) - 40 Hours of service

Warrant Officers (Above Non Certified Members and NCOs)

Warrant Officer 1 (WO1) - NCOs can choose to become warrant officers once at SGT.

There are a few rules,and they will apply 90 percent of the time.

1. Don't do anything you're not told to do.
2. Respect other members (especially Certified members)
3. Attend at least 1 Skill Evaulation a month (Certified Only)
4. Recruit Recruit Recruit!
5. Try to do RASP as soon as possible
