New World Interactive, the developer of Insurgency, has released a new game called Day of Infamy. More info on the game can be found on their web site at https://newworldinteractive.com/#day-of-infamy. The game has all the elements of Day of Defeat (even some of valve's maps!) with a few new features such as artillery calls and air support.

The 28th ID is currently operating two DoI servers - a 32 player PVP and 8 player COOP listed below. If there is enough interest Captain Ward has advised he'll update the forums with a Day of Infamy section for coordination and recruitment.

Server's been up for a good week or so now and We've managed to iron out most of the snags and issues. We had about 24 people on yesterday at our peak.

I want to remind all of our former members that you should still have admin on our server. I'd like to invite you to come and play and help get the word out that the 28th ID server is back online.

Come play on the 28th ID server. I've gone through and loaded all the customs I could find that are working, removed any that were causing crashes and have all the pluggins going. It's ready for a serious load test. What can ya lose? It's a 3 day weekend and most people are off work and out of schools tomorrow.
