The 160th SOR Steam Group
Due to recent events and for reasons outlined by CPL Steve on the 160th SOR Discord we will be removing a large number of former 160th SOR members from the Steam Group on Monday the 25th of September 2023.

For those that are not on the Discord the key reasons for this are below:

  • Currently our Steam Group shows that we have 183 members, this artificially inflates our numbers as a vast majority of these people are not active and have not been for some time. This also gives a false impression to prospective new members as to the scale of the missions that we run.
  • The primary purpose of our Steam Group is to keep active members and members on LOA updated with mission sign ups, mod updates, community meetings and other relevant information. This information is not relevant to many former members.
  • We have had a recent incident where a former member deleted posts that were still relevant to the active community.

We will still be retaining certain former members in the Steam Group, these will be people who we consider are still actively supportive of and/or still engaged in a positive manner with the active community.

If you think you fall into the above mentioned group but feel your name may be removed in error please contact a member of leadership through Steam before next Monday, these are Col. Clickenhof, Maj. Phoenix, Capt. King and CPL Steve.

If you are removed and feel this is in error please also contact a member of leadership to get this rectified, mistakes can be made.
Equally if you are a former member and no longer want to be a part of the Steam Group feel free to remove yourself before Monday.

The 160th SOR Discord
At this stage there will be no changes to the 160th SOR Discord or its members as we feel this is still a great way for active and former members to communicate. Please be advised though, if you use our Discord to attack or try to destabilise the community in any way you will be removed.
