Progress Report 25th Jan
The last couple of weeks have been very eventful for the 101st, we've seen our formation into a two game unit, we have seen the establishment of a Insurgency server and the refinement of the Unit's website which continues as I speak.

In the next few days we will have a working Basic Training Programme and a Enlistment Office headed up by 2LT Campos and 1LT Welch respectively. What this means for out unit is that we have the mechanisms in place in which to recruit and train in a effective and professional manner.

What I'd like to see in the next week is a sustained effort by all troopers to recruit new members into the unit, the 101st will grow stronger with every passing day but only if we all pull together.

Keep hanging tough!

Yours in duty,

Captain D. Love
Commanding Officer

First Week Milestones
Well it's been officially a week since the 101st was activated and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your efforts in laying the foundations of what I believe can be a shinning light of a unit amongst many other realism units.

Many of you are ex-members of the 506th, or have served with me in another unit, which ever is the case you're all equally valued in my eyes and those of the rest of the Company HQ.

We have reached another milestone other than being active for one week; that of having reached 10 members, 10 founding members of the 101st, not just a unit but a family, a brotherhood.

In closing, I would again like to thank you for all the work and loyalty to the unit you have shown this far. It is true that there is much more work that needs to be done, in recruiting new members, each Platoon to organise a BCT Course, a Platoon Schedule and the improvement of the structure of the unit.

The success of the unit relies upon us all pulling in the same direction and it will not be an easy task, but this is a task we will not hide from!

Yours ever loyal,

Captain D. Love
Commanding Officer,
Able Company, 1st Battalion,
