Anyone else is bored with 8R and back here again? Luckily i still have like half scenarios and 9 achievements not yet completed.

This is not the best ROTK game but I am a sucker for this series so I keep dumping hour after hour into this game hoping for better results but it's always the same. At some point the AI becomes absolutely useless because it can't maintain it's own empire. Their are never enough officers! If you just do some simple math where you factor in that each city requires at least 6-8 area overseers, 1 drill and 1 training overseer, someone with at least some minimal combat ability to defend the city, someone good ...

theres so many, and they often have mixed or negative reviews. at least on steam. and a godless amount of dlc. yet... despite this. i want to get into it and play; therefore recommend me the best ROTK game of all time. i value characters. story and a good gameplay loop. flavor and gameplay loop. i will get whatever the consensus is in this post....

i'm looking at buying this game and i saw the "diplomacy and strategy" DLC and the title alone "sounds" interesting to me! but when i look at the description of the dlc. it's like "ancient rome and trading" and all that sh*t! and i would f*kn hate rome in a game about china (i like rome, but not in a game about rotk)! so my question is, if i get this dlc, does it actually add functionality to the core gameplay of the core game? like maybe i get more strategies/tactics or more moves i can do on the map (...

I haven't get back into the game for awhile, kinda bore with 8R. I hop into 14 again playing Meng Huo and I thought I was doing something wrong as the adjunctant button is grey out. In the guide, any rank above Regional will have adjuctant so Regional will have 1, and so on. So rank King such as Meng Huo should have 4, it's still grey out. I try Yuan Shao in another scenario, it is still grey out. I know when I play back then, it had to be trigger but I forgot the step for it. Does you need Warlord assigne...
