will be there an english patch for this game?

So im an english speaker but i learn chinese and japanese and was hoping to translate and play the game on my own time however, the words just show up as the "unknown character" type boxes and Im unsure if this is because my computer is not already in the required language or if it is a game bug, ive tried uninstalling and redownloading the game a few times and it still doesnt work....

Really love this game, even if I have no idea of what is happening. I am stuck in the second floor of the house, in the room where lot of enemies jump out from a closet. One of these enemies when attacked will blow up. I cannot damage him and if I try to avoid him he is just to fast and kill me. Any advice on how to kill it?...
