SPOILER ALLERT: im stucked on the scene when i came out of my body, dawn, meds and windows. my character i go under the floor and i can see it again...it is a bug? can someone help me?

I'm stuck in the "present" where the robocop's car has broken down and he needs tools. I have the knife, and an online walkthrough says I need to use tape on the knife. I'm not able to do so, as I only have knife in my inventory and I'm not able to grab tape, nor is clicking on the tape with the knife doing anything. Help?...
