Do you guys think it is possible to choose a character and play as them entirely through player control while also not failing at making a viable base?

When I first started this game, 2 of them seemed almost stuck right outside this prebuilt structure, moving barely at all... but moving. They finally seemed to "get through" whatever was slowing them down, so I thought ok, fine. But just now, Quincy was stuck for the whole day to the right of research bench and Meghan stood all day just above it. Both seemingly stuck. I thought Meghan was researching (she was the scientist) but then I noticed she didn't have the progress bar above her head. Quincy final...

I really need pawns to be able to target zombies on their own. Right now, nights are just long, tedious series of pausing to find every zombie that stepped into your base, or are attacking its walls, and manually ordering a pawn to kill it. Kill orders are ignored by all but one animal, and ordering pawns to residence still has them shuffle uselessly. In addition, zombies can spawn inside your base, so walls aren't even that useful....

I just opened the game and it crashed about 3 seconds later and there is nothing i can do ._.

Hey I just started playing this game. I watched most half of the tutorial video and I have played for one hour now (I will play more later). I'm loving the game so far, my only suggestion is explain more things in the beginning. For example, how do I maintain happiness? For example, a good idea on my opinion is that when I hover my mouse over the "happiness" bar, then there is a small text something like "Happiness is increased by X".
