Hey guys HUGE NEWS. We have been hard at work totally revamping the entire game to finally get us out of early access and into the full release world! A lot has gone into this from redrawing over 2,000+ individual art assets, Overhauling the whole AI system for Survivors, Zims and animals, and so much more. Lets take a sneak peek at some of it!


We have brought an artist onto the team to help us totally reimagine what Rekindling could look like. No longer do we just have bobbling around creatures with floating heads, we now have fully animated dynamic survivors! We have taken this whole redesign very seriously and replaced pretty much every single asset currently in the game with an updated new one!

Survivors and Zims used to do some pretty silly things when it came to their internal logic without going into a lot of super nerdy things here we have totally rewritten a lot of how they make decisions to be more intelligent and feel more "alive"

Leading up to launch in the next few months we will do more posts with deep dives into some of the new features!

I am notorious at giving specific dates on things and missing them so what I will say is we are aiming to release this update along with a bump from early access into full release in Q3 of this year!
