Controller has a full blown seizure in the upgrade menu between each map and also throughout the end game credits. It stops and returns to normal once in a new map and at the main menu though.

This happens at least once a game. My dude has bullets, but he stops firing. None of my controller buttons fire any weapons or bullets. I basically have to run around and very seldomly I can suddenly start firing again. But, most of the time, once this happens, I can never shoot anymore and I die. What's going on, please?...

So at some point the game put me into god mode, granting me unlimited invincibilty from enemies as well as the health loss from ability usage. Anyone else experience this?

this is just based off of the video you have on the main page, but it seems the death screen just shows up a little abruptly for my liking, perhaps give the player a second to realize on their own they died, then have the menu fade in rather than pop in, the pop in is just a little jarring when it brings the action to a screeching halt like it does, unlike when the player is given time to adjust to the fact that it happened...
