Okay game, very bad sequel compared to its predecessor. When i saw that a lootbox that i got costs 12 dollars to open i dipped.
Fomo garbage in my opinion

The devs claim that the game has "VERY light p2w" but that's just not true. If you spend just like $10 on the game at the start, you'll be easily 300% more powerful than a non-p2w character... that's not exactly 'light'.

The devs also implemented a bunch of predatory FOMO tactics, such as timers on discounts and a despicable mechanic where a lootbox will drop from random enemies once in a while, and then you only have 2 options: "Pay between $1-$10 to open the lootbox" or "Destroy the lootbox". This is highly predatory and the fact that some lootboxes cost $10 to open, is insane... once again, the devs' "VERY light p2w" lie is laughable.

You also have to pay for storage. You get 4slots when you pay $1, then 4more after you pay $10, and then 4more slots after you pay $30. So it costs $41 to get just 12 storage slots, which is absolutely bonkers.

You also can't open the Map anytime you want. I've pressed 'M' many times, and sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't.

I've spent literally tens-of-thousands of dollars on f2p games that deserve it over the years, but this game won't be seeing a single red cent from me, on principal alone.

The game play is simple and pretty attractive for people who enjoy older feeling JRPG style Turn-Based combat system. The controls are a little clunky still, even though it does feel slightly better than the mobile version of this game. Yes, this is a pretty decently old Mobile game. The biggest problem is the greed of the microtransactions in this game. This game is worth around $10 to $20 as a whole, if all microtransactions are gutted.

Unfortunately Early Morning Studio thinks they deserve a lot more than that. Perfect example of this is the screenshot from around 60 mins into the game: A random mob drops a chest that costs 850 shards to open. You cannot save this chest for later opening, when you obtain shards slowly each day. They push a FOMO scenario on the player to go buy the shards needed to open this now to get a possible 'MYTHIC' item of some sort. To purchase enough shards to open this chest requires you to either purchase either: x2-500 shards package for $20 OR 3,000 shards package for $40. That is ridiculous.

Then there are the "cosmetic" items that normally people do not care about being a microtransaction item for people to buy to change the look of their characters. HOWEVER, the back cosmetics (Wings or Capes) provide stats to the player. 300 shards = 10% movement speed back cosmetic ($10 min package purchase), 600 shards = 20% movement speed back cosmetic ($13 min package purchase), 1200 shards = 30% movement speed back cosmetic ($28 min package purchase).

* If this game was sold without ANY microtransactions, priced around $10-$20. I'd support it.

* If this game stayed free-to-play and removes all purchases with real money being able to be used to purchase anything with stats (this is a online PvP game and all pay to win needs to be removed to be considered fair for any PvP competitions.) I'd support it

* If this game stayed free-to-play and was single player only, maintains their shops as they are, but lower their prices for purchase to a reasonable level (about 10-25% of what they currently price everything) then I'd support it.

* Unfortunately, as it is, this is a greed-fest and is not worth a recommendation.
