Hi everyone,

Update v0.4.8 is now live, bringing several important checkout and transaction fixes, improvements to shop tidiness scoring, and better customer feedback visibility.

• Fixed an issue where an AI worker could enter a checkout already being used by the player when the player possessed the pin terminal.

• Fixed a bug where the first customer in the checkout line could get stuck waiting outside the queue.

• Fixed a cash transaction bug where customers could sometimes pay less than the correct amount.

• Fixed a bug where placing an item from a basket onto an empty shelf would not create a price tag when only one item was placed.

• Fixed a bug where the Shop 5 upgrade option would not appear when it should be available.

• Updated shop tidiness calculation:

  • Boxes in storage areas no longer count negatively toward tidiness when placed on the ground. They no longer need to be placed on storage shelves to be considered valid storage.

• Added a new customer dissatisfaction alert icon:

  • Unsatisfied customers are now easier to detect.

  • Clicking the icon shows more detailed information about their status.

Hi everyone,

Update v0.4.7 is now live, introducing new customer queue behavior, basket interactions, several visual and UI improvements, and important updates to Steam save handling.

• Added a new queue mechanism: queue tolerance now depends on customer type. Wealthier customers have less patience for long queues.

• Unsatisfied customers can now drop their shopping baskets, leaving their items behind. Currently the dropping system is enabled only for queue mechanism and will be implemented to other behaviours as well

• Items from dropped baskets now need to be restocked by the player.

• It is now possible to transfer items from one basket to another.

• You can now enter a checkout that an AI worker is using; when you enter, the AI immediately leaves the checkout.

• Updated overlay materials for clearer, better-looking visuals.

• Updated the box information overlay panel (shown when looking at a box) to improve how item image, name, and amount remaining are presented.

• The pay terminal now has physics enabled buttons with improved press feedback, and its input registration has been refined.

• Price tags on shelves have received a small UI update for better readability.

• Fixed several Steam leaderboard issues.

• Fixed a bug where the “Pay All” buttons could pay all bills even when you did not have enough money.

• Fixed a bug where, after disabling all checkouts and re-enabling only one, customers would still not use that checkout.

• Fixed an issue where upgrading the shop could incorrectly force it into a closed state even if it was open.

• Changed the save file location from MyDocuments to AppData/Local to avoid potential issues on some systems.

• Implemented the Steam Remote Storage API for better control over save file syncing.

  • Automatic Steam Cloud will be gradually phased out and fully disabled in favor of this system.

• If different save files are found for the same save slot, the player is now asked to choose which one to use.
