Hello, Adventurers.

The following updates are being applied through today's scheduled maintenance.

✨ Key Update

Event Menu Added: You can now check ongoing in-game events through the new menu.
New Event \[Pho Pho's Material Collection]: Collect items dropped by monsters to earn special rewards. For more details, please check the \[Event] channel.
Lv. 180+ Equipment Shop: A new shop for equipment level 180 and above has been added. You can find it at the NPC in Elgail Village.
Tower of Trials: All bugs related to the Tower of Trials have been resolved, and it is now available for normal use.
Field Boss Drop Table: Accessories have been added to the drop tables of Field Bosses. Field Bosses are monsters marked with 3 stars in the Growth Guide images.
Grade Conversion Box: Added the Grade Conversion Box, which can be used to change the grade of your equipment. Higher grades provide increased stats. These can be purchased in the Cash Shop.

Random Beauty & Hair Box: Added to the Cash Shop(Probability is equal for all items.).

Stitching Kit: Added to the Cash Shop. This item allows you to change the appearance of costume items. Please note that the costume used as the "overlay" will be consumed.
New Costumes: New costumes have been added to the Cash Shop. Please check the \[Style] tab.
Costume Enhancement: You can now enhance your costume's stats by consuming materials. Enhancement materials are available in the Cash Shop.

🛠️ Bug Fixes & Improvements

\[Balance]Notice: These adjustments are temporary and may be modified based on continuous monitoring.

Increased the drop rate of certain quest material items.
Decreased the drop rate of potion items.
Decreased the stats provided by Stones equipped on gear.
Decreased the enhancement values for the Boss Emblem.

\[Bug Fixes]

Fixed mistranslations and inconsistent text in certain UI elements.
Fixed an issue where players would respawn in the wrong map after dying during the Neisha Boss Raid.
Fixed an issue where pets would intermittently fail to be summoned.
Fixed an issue where some item descriptions did not match the actual stats provided.
Fixed an issue where the Quest Auto-move feature would intermittently fail to function.
Fixed an issue where Guild Buff upgrades were not working correctly.
Fixed an issue where CP Rankings were not displaying properly.
Fixed an issue where the attack power increase for the Hunter skill 'Nature’s Arrow' was not applied correctly.
Fixed an error where certain skill upgrades did not require skill points.
Fixed an issue where materials were intermittently not consumed upon quest completion.
Fixed an issue where some boss monsters intermittently did not drop rewards.
Fixed an issue where the \[Rest] skill did not recover MP.
Fixed an issue where map backgrounds appeared broken in certain areas.
Fixed an issue where the effect of the Zed Acquisition Increase Potion was intermittently not applied.
Fixed an issue where incorrect information was displayed when checking guild member info in the Guild menu.
Fixed an issue where the Diamond recharge button would intermittently fail to work.

We are currently investigating the following issues:

An issue where Guild Contribution does not increase normally.
An issue where tooltips and movement for certain skills are abnormal.

📢 [Hotfix] January 15, 2026

Hello, Adventurers. This hotfix is applied immediately upon restarting the game after receiving the Steam update. This hotfix prioritizes issues that could be fixed quickly. We plan to introduce new content and events in the upcoming regular update.

Fixed an issue where quest data was not reset upon character deletion.
Fixed an issue where Mileage shop item prices were displayed in Diamonds.
Fixed an issue where certain Diamond top-up buttons did not function.
Adjusted the display priority of windows when inviting other players to a party to appear more natural.
Fixed an issue where the client would terminate when searching for items with long names in the Auction House.
Fixed an issue where Korean text appeared on the Party Board and the "Next Page" button did not function.
Fixed an issue where some users were unable to interact with the inventory after enhancing a weapon.
Fixed an issue where some users' screens turned entirely black when switching to full-screen mode.
Resolved an issue where antivirus programs incorrectly flagged WonderKing as a virus in some user environments.

※ Known Issues We are currently investigating the following issues:

Item Tooltips: Discrepancy between effect value text and tooltip description.
Tower of Trials: Progress reset and temporary access restriction due to ranking buff errors. (Full fix in next update)
Skills: Abnormal effects and learning conditions for some skills.
Auction House: Search issues with items containing single quotes (').
Daily Quests: Issues regarding required items for certain Daily Quests.
Guilds: Non-intuitive error messages when guild joining fails and general guild function malfunctions.
Combat Power: Non-intuitive display of Combat Power rankings.
Auto-battle: Intermittent malfunctions of the Auto-battle system.
Skill Usage: Intermittent failure to use skills during gameplay.
Pets: Abnormal functionality of certain Pet features.
Translations: Awkward translations in some localized texts.
Damage Display: Abnormal display of damage dealt by other players.
Stone Enhancement: Non-intuitive required quantity display for stone enhancement.

Not conforming to resolution

I've tried to change options.ini to different numbers but either i get bigger or smaller but still can't play, and if I do get full screen it flickers and looks green, any ideas?

Fullscreen leads to black screen

Yeah, I can't even change my resolution back to windowed mode. Alt+Enter doesn't work, nor does F11 or whatever. I'm stuck in a black screen.

"Corruption program detected. Shut down the game."

Can't launch the game lol what is this game detecting? I closed some background programs like MSIA+RTSS, ShareX, PowerToys, and got the game to launch without this popup. I re-opened everything afterwards and it continues to launch without the popup... that's good, but strange. The game also hijacks all PC hotkeys, including Ctrl+Shift+Esc, Print Screen, EVERYTHING, even if the game window is not active. Edit: I think it was BakkesMod for Rocket League running in the background....

A wasted opportunity for a childhood classic.
Wonderking used to be a fantastic game filled with childhood memories—beautiful graphics and that nostalgic MapleStory vibe. It’s such a shame the developers couldn't modernize it for today's standards.
While they added new features like auto-questing and auto-combat, they completely ignored the most important part: the visuals. In an era of Full HD, 2K, and 4K, having a maximum resolution of only 1600x900 is unacceptable. The UI also feels dated and cluttered.
I've decided to uninstall and keep my memories of Wonderking in the past. Goodbye.

TLDR : Try it before u write it off. I hated the idea of shortcuts / Auto fight, I almost didn't bother trying it because of those two features . But I did and ive been enjoing it allot and havent touched any other games since launch

I was a 2010 player, have been waiting and hoping for a re-release for years.
When it was finally announced i was super hyped. Then it dropped and i saw it was All negative reviews about the auto functions . I grew up playing OG maplestory so manually grinding has a special place for me. Immediately i wanted to post a bad review about how dumb it would be to swap to the idle style.

However i gave it a chance and after a hour of (questionable) gameplay , i was hooked.
The tutorial makes you think its allot more idle focused than it truly is, which is very off-putting.
After the 3 hours of auto fight youre given at the beginning is used up ,its gone you don't get more for free, and I don't plan on ever buying any .

There are some bugs, and it's not as flushed out as the original, but i've had a ton of fun with it so far.
I hope they continue to consistently update the game and restore all the content that once was + add new fresh things.
