Very cool demo, similar to the incredible Spellrogue but instead of modifying spells you modify dice (and a few added twists).
Not sure how balanced it is considering I've only played the base difficulty and it was a complete rollface with the Shield build I had, but hopefully it evens out on harder difficulties.

Either way, the actual mechanics and dice crafting are quite interesting, especially since you sometimes have to make combat harder on yourself by not using dice or spells to get a bonus later on.
Events were pretty meh, standard events in a roguelite I'd say, nothing crazy.

Quite polished overall but not there yet, there is some QoL missing like an Undo button during dice crafting and during combat. This is very much needed. And maybe a reroll on the shop?

The whole run took 1.5 hours which is fairly standard but again I was rollfacing everything (ie. 2-3 turns every battle) and playing without thinking too much so it might be on the long side, even though I'll be honest it didn't feel that long.

I liked the art and sound design for the most part, some improvements to make obviously but I'm sure those things will be improved in the final version! Can't wait to see what the other characters are!

Definitely recommend trying it out, even more so if you've enjoyed Spellrogue in the past!

9 pips faces + 50% dmg body + max HP damage = 1 shot bosses. While game has interesting premise balance is undercooked. You don't need to strategize, or build. Anything is viable. Want to SS enemies while hiding behind perfect sheild? check. Want to debuff their asses to the death? check. W/o any effort.

So I'm giving it thumbs up for future, but atm I actually don't recommend playing.

Great game. Wonderfully balanced on the cusp of just mildly frustratingly too difficult, to make you want to play another round. Its fast enough and easy enough to be quick and fun, but complex enough to be different and engaging rather than boring or repetative. They did a great job with this, its very fun and engaging.
