This game is amazing. Extremely complex and in depth.

To have a quick overview, it's a deck builder roguelike with geographical, mathematical and chess components. Quite an original concept!

The synergies/deck archetypes are endless. You can make deck focusing on a color, or a shape, or a continent, or whatever your heart desires.

In addition to that, there's 193 flags (which are your "cards); each one can be enhanced and modified more than 5 ways.

While all that might seem overwhelming, you'll slowly grasp what every little thing does, and get that nice dopamine hit of seeing numbers go big. Really big.

Final mention: The dev is amazing and friendly. RubyRooster is very attentive to the community, which, IMO adds to the quality of the game. It shows that it is a passion project!

This is a very fun Balatro-inspired game with some interesting differences that help it stand on its own. The core gameplay loop is highly enjoyable and keeps you coming back for “just one more run.”

The gameplay can get a bit complicated at times, but once you learn how the different flags interact, it becomes incredibly satisfying. When a build comes together and you set your creation into motion, it feels fantastic. There’s a strong sense of payoff for experimenting and learning the systems.

The UI is functional but fairly simple. It works, but it lacks polish and convenience.

Quality of life improvements I’d like to see:
• Sorting unlocked flags
• Clearer discard/box visuals
• Better overall build management tools

These additions would make the experience smoother and more intuitive.

There are a few flags that feel very overpowered. I’ve personally managed to go infinite in the shop by adding more pieces then I use. While that can be fun in the short term, it ultimately breaks the game’s challenge and balance.

The game has a lot of potential. With some UI improvements, additional quality-of-life features, and better balance tuning, it could become something truly special.

Recommended — especially if you enjoy build-crafting and combo-driven roguelikes.

If you like Balatro type Rougelike, there is a fine chance you will like this game. Dont worry about chess at all, its a movement mechanic that you will learn really quick. There is alot of replayability because they have different abilities on every flag in the world and there are ways to combine flags as well.
I have not completed it yet, but i would still recommend.
