Hey Kittens! Pungo v1.2.0 just dropped

Added two more cats
On screen tutorial before playing (can be enabled/disabled from settings)
Some bugfixing

One thing we heard from feedback was that sometimes the game was a bit confusing for the first time players. We designed a new tutorial screen that shows up before you play a match, it is great for showing what all the buttons do! If you don’t want to see, this can easily be disabled in the settings.

We are also adding two more cats: Benito and Grumpo.

Here is a real picture of the cutie Benito.

Patch Notes 1.1.2

Hey Kittens! We’ve just sharpened our claws and polished the yarn ball for a new update.

Greatly changed the rate at which new cats are unlocked. You should see unlocks happen faster in Tournament mode and Battle mode (Co-op).
Based on some feedback, we changed the default selected Game Mode to 3 Goals instead of Match Point.
Improved some AI interactions for the 1 player tournament mode, the AI will fail less on first ball interactions and be less aggressive initially.
We have added the Discord Link at the main screen.
Added support for Steam Cloud Save.
Cats are now 20% more furry because of the cold.

We have added a bug section to our discord so if you are encountering any issues please post there to have them squished.

A SUPER FUN KITTY-THEMED TAKE ON PONG

Pungo is a fun PvP (player versus player) game, perfect for sharing and challenging friends. Inspired by the classic Pong, it adds a twist with adorable playable cats. Animated levels full of colors and different locations.

Headbutt, belly-bump, or kick, charge energy and unleash super strikes to dominate the court! Be the fastest kitty and enjoy every celebration!.

Two game modes: choose between Best of 3 Goals or Match-Point to play your match!

Pungo is available in Windows, Linux, Mac and Steam Deck.

Thanks to Steam’s Remote Play Together feature, you can challenge your friends (or enemies!) even if they’re miles away. Only one player needs to own the game — just invite your buddies directly through Steam and play as if you were on the same couch.

Pungo is all about sharing laughs, quick reflexes, and chaotic cat belly smashes — no matter where your rivals are!

Grab your controllers, connect those paws, and... let the ultimate cat duel begin!
