Howdy! We have a small update for you.

There is an official American Cooking Simulator Subreddit now!

We take the feedback from the community very seriously, so if there is anything you want us to consider in the next weeks - be it wishes, criticism, or crazy ideas - that's the perfect place to let us know.

You may have noticed that we have been quiet for a while, but rest assured - we are not done with American Cooking Simulator yet. In fact, we have some exciting news to announce very soon, but please be patient just a little while longer.

We also want to thank everyone who left us reviews, streamed the game or uploaded gameplay on YouTube again. It's been very motivating to see everyone having fun with the game!

I'm stuck with no orders. The order screen shows a chef hat and there's no customer. How to avoid/fix this? What am I supposed to do?

Patch 1.2.3 Notes

Howdy! It's been a bit. We've made some additional changes due to feedback and bug reports we've received.

Bugfixes:

Fixed bug where the assembly box could collect ingredients even if it was closed.
Fixed bug where the "Perfect Candidate!" achievement was triggered even if only four shifts had an S rank.
Fixed bug where an ingredient could be reported as raw and burnt in the same time during the rating.
Adjusted table colliders to prevent boxes getting stuck.

Changes:

Added an eating VFX for rats.
Decreased the ingredient detector size for rats.

Besides that, we also did a lot of code cleanup - something you'll never get to see, but very important for us! Especially since we have some exciting news...
If you remember from our release post, we talked about how we're not sure yet whether American Cooking Simulator will get content updates in the future. We can now confidently say that it will, and that quite soon! Stay tuned for more details coming around April, and thank you for playing American Cooking Simulator!
