this week Flowebots are joining the Steam Next Fest and the demo is ready!!

we're updated it so collecting shards is more satisfying now, screen resolutions work better and some minor bugs are found and fixed! (stas, if you're reading this, you're a hero)

also, last weeks we feel absolutely HUGGED by a community with all the thoughtful messages, genuinely helpful feedback and kindest words ever! thank you SO MUCH!!!!! this makes all our sleepless nights make sense

Demo thoughs

On the whole, I loved it. Core gameplay loop is smart, well-done, and addicting. The combo of music and sound effects is quite soothing. Minor issues/questions: 1) Obviously question about length (TBD?) vs. cost (TBD?) will come up. I might pay $15 for this if you added a lot more content, and the gameloop does seem to lend itself to expansion over time, but as is I completed the demo in maybe 40 minutes and that appears to be...roughly half the current content? BIG demo update

Hi!

For two weeks since the demo dropped, we were watching friends and streamers play our tiny little game, carefully recording the things that we can improve, and working on the new big update!

So here it is, NEW BIG UPDATE OF THE DEMO!!!

What's in the new big update?

Anomalies, which feel like mini boss-stages
Now the game displays which upgrades you already bought
More juice and animations
Updated the list of prestige upgrades: removed sad upgrades, added new cool upgrades!
Adjusted the game progression so it should feel more smooth and satisfying
Added several card upgrades: more shards to everyone!
Made descriptions more clear, fixes a lot of UI things, added new sounds
Added support of custom screen resolution, including 3440х1440
Fewer bugs

Please note that this upgrade will reset your saved game. Sorry, such things will happen until the release date, because we're still doing some major changes in the game. Hope it's OK!

We're still can't believe how many people checked out our demo and how many positive responses we had from friends, streamers and people we don't even know!

If you enjoy our little game, please don't hesitate to spread the word about it. This will REALLY help our team!

hi!

our DEMO and TRAILER are out as a part of the Steam Idler Fest!

we're 100% inspired by such titans as gnorp and nodebusters, and we're trying to say something new in the genre!

so here is our take: a physical simulation with automated bots, upgrades, prestiges and synergies. A chill garden where everything bounces around, with a room for strategic optimizations.

Cute demo!

What happens to yellow boxes picked up while either the anomaly bar is full or an anomaly is active? Do they just disappear? It seemed like there were upgrades for Thrower/Bouncer, but now it says "No Upgrades Left" (I didn't have throwers or bouncers active when I finished the other upgrades). So it seems impossible to continue this run now. This is a run killing bug....

Minor things

I like the game, but I've noticed some minor things. The audio of a tile being harvested is under global rather than gameplay. Since the update the map upgrade on the prestige menu still says that along with making the map bigger it unlocks map size upgrades, but they don't seem to be showing up if they're still implemented and while not a bug and something that won't matter for the final game, I'd prefer if it was possible to max the current available prestige tree otherwise the game's swell, I like ...

Fun game!

Restarted twice to test out different strategies. I like how in each play through I focused on different planters (the blue and the flower) and discover how massively that impacts play style. Very fun to try out combo's. My partner sat down next to me half way through the game and he got hooked on it too. If a nice variety of flower types, prestige upgrades, and upgrades are added, the replay-ability could be massive. Especially early game variability would be nice so the re-start doesn't get too repetitiv...
