This game has a lot of positive aspects and I would very much like to give it a positive review, but this game just straight up wastes your time for no reason.

There is absolutely no reason for building materials to weigh so much. It takes 10-30 minutes of real time to build one fence and that's only with no interruptions from the horrid base attack system, which brings me to the next point:

There is absolutely no reason for your base to be constantly attacked. Seriously, this game will spawn groups of 7-8 unnamed raiders (a larger number of raiders than most enemy settlements have I should add), who all have perfect accuracy, to attack your settlement of three people for the crime of.....existing in the middle of a desert. This is in conjunction with random zombie horde assaults as well.

And of course, this is all on top of the fact that no matter what weapon/skill your character has, he only seems to land 1/3 of the shots he takes even though the combat encounters are at point blank range. The only way you can possibly defeat these attacks is with explosives but the character won't even throw molotovs if he is under attack. Thus, the only way to win in combat is to cheese the game, which leads to a very unfun experience.

Just get the sequel, which is much better.
