Demo Update #1

Hey Gamers

Today, I am happy to announce the release of the first proper update to the demo.

Here is a list of changes:

Added:
- Added a new book tracker to locate books when helping a customer
- Added some park ambient sound
- Added the number of books sold per title on the Book Ordering Menu
- Added genre filters in the book ordering menu
- Added genre theme filters in the furniture menu

Improvements:
- Book stacking/dropping on the floor is more precise
- Improved tutorial with 1 step split into 2
- Better furniture item names
- Fixed typos
- Fixed a bug that would freeze the game when entering/exiting the shop exactly when the day ends
- Balanced music volume
- Fixed a bug that would stop the player from leaving the shop after the day ends and have a customer following them

Suggestions

I have to say, I'm glad to see a demo, I've had this on my wishlist since it was announced. I do have a couple of suggestions if possible (They may not be, I'm surely no expert). When we open the screen to order more books, it would be nice to see, with each book page, a number indicating how many of that specific book we have out on the shelves. It would be nice if we could hover over a book on a shelf and get a popup of the title name instead of having to go into the bookshelf specifically to see it. ...

Hey gamers

I am so excited to announce the release of the demo of Book Bound.

With this demo you can finally start decorating your own cozy bookshop and chat with Stefan!

Decorate and run your bookshop
Invite people in the area
Help customers find books
Keep your shop tidy
Unlock more books in genres
Sell books at least once to continue your genre progression

I wanted this demo to include as much possible but there are 2 limitations:

No save
Limited books and genres. Available genres are Romance and Fantasy (Scifi, Non fiction and Thriller are locked in the demo).

I am all ears for any feedback you may have.

Bugs?

I've encountered some situation that could be a bug. Once I was about to go outside when the day ended. That crashed the game. In another run the same happend when I was unfortunate enough to go inside while the day ended. Game crashed again. Music continued but I couldn't do anything and had to close the game manually. When I talked to someone searching for a book and the day ended, they kept following me. I couldn't opt for stop or go outside. Finally I could point to a shelf to have them go. Not sure ...
