Dive Deeper

This chapter sees you reaching the core of the facility, and discovering its deepest, darkest secrets. The chapter also features voice cameos from Ben Starr, Dave Jones, Shanequa Paris & De-Graft Mensah in addition to the pre-established cast featuring Sam Lake, Samantha Béart and Inel Tomlinson!

Two in One

Chapter 5 is split into two parts, making it possibly the largest chapter so far! Expect new gameplay, much more story, and loads of new collectibles!

What Next?

The final chapters will be released together in a final free update which is currently slated for June. It'll be no later than this, and I'll put out an announcement if anything changes! In the meantime, I'll be releasing QoL updates, level reworks, extra details and maybe a few fun extras if I get the time :D

Added new Chapter: Part 1: Orbit.
Added new Chapter: Part 2: Descent.
Added achievement functionality for corresponding new chapter achievements.
Added skipping to in-game video players. (e.g. Maxwell's speech)
Moved spine to be accessible after Chapter 5 is completed, instead of Chapter 4.
Updated opening credits + full credits.
Reduced subtitle font size.
Fixed a bug with the 'Really?' achievement being awarded when it shouldn't be.
Fixed various small bugs.

Display Size Issue

I'm having an issue where the game is appearing larger, making the menus impossible to navigate. The bottom of the screen extends beyond the display, and the settings in the menu overlap, making it hard to navigate. I'm on an ultrawide, so my native resolution is 3440X1440. Any help would be appreciated!...

The Victor Initiative: Chapter 5 Releases January 21st!

The Chapter features cameos from Dave Jones, Ben Starr, De-Graft Mensah, Shanequa Paris and more!

Hey all!! It's been so so hard keeping the majority of news about this chapter a secret, and I'm so glad to finally get it out there! This chapter has been a blast to develop, and features (in my humble opinion) some insanely good performances from cast new and old, on top of a gameplay structure that combines the best bits of the previous 4. I can't wait for you all to jump in on January 21st!

What's next?

The current plan is for chapters 6 and 7 to both release on June 1st as the final game update, with QoL and small content updates coming out in the long wait. This will give time to polish the game up, add subtitles to everything and generally make the experience as good as possible.

See you on January 21st!!!

Dark mirror flashlight

(I used a translator) In a wide maze, the flashlight quickly turns off, so it keeps hitting the wall and circling around the same place. It's time for the annual Spacepiano Games December 8th update!!

This also serves as The Victor Initiative's first update, and I'm super happy to confirm that the next major update will be Chapter 5!

Now, for this update.
'The Silver Screen' adds a new room to the spine, leading to a new level, a new collectible and more!! The update also adds full achievement support, so make sure to jump in to unlock them!
