Flocking Hell demo update!

WAKE UP SHEEPLE! There's a new version of the Flocking Hell demo, in preparation for the upcoming Steam Next Fest. The focus for this release is quality-of-life improvements, including:

A new "View Map" button that allows you to survey your island once a level is complete
Redesigned progression and unlocks
Clearer text for most of the cards and guides

Of course, a patch is also a great opportunity for new content, and this one introduces the Observatory! We originally planned to make this building full game-only, but it's so fun, we decided to include it in the demo as well.

WAKE UP SHEEPLE! We’re thrilled to announce the release of the new Flocking Hell demo. After months of hard work and incorporating invaluable feedback from our amazing playtesters and demo players, the game is now better than ever.

There have been too many changes to list in this one post (the change log is over 10 pages!) Every game system has been redesigned from the ground up, including:

City growth
Crystals
Playing and drafting cards
Combat
and much more!

Great news for Steam Deck owners! We've had several playtesters try Flocking Hell on the Steam Deck using the trackpad as a mouse, and we're excited to share that gameplay feels smooth and intuitive. So grab your Deck, give it a try, and let us know what you think!

Missing Windowed Mode settings

I have huge monitor and this game doesn't have a windowed mode option. I'm sure you'll get feedback from players who have ultra wide monitors too wanting windowed mode.

Looks like it's heavily inspired by (Defense of the) Oasis?!?

If so, that's a very, very great thing! I still play Oasis almost 20 years after it came out. And nothing has really replicated that formula. I can't wait to play!
