Firstly, I must say, this game is oddly one of my most important games i got to do, which sounds silly because of the obvious....type of game that it is, but its really not about that for me honestly. 😄
To be able to VA in a game that quite literally, hits all of the marks of things that i love and appreciate in a game, has been an absolute pleasure (heh) and might i say, one of the coolest things I got to be apart of. Thank you all so much for all the time, love, and support you've given to Sin Spire so far, and lets get to the review! 😁

Firstly, this game is an awesome take of Horror / Roguelike in nsfw format. The NSFW aspect really is just an additional bonus that 'takes the edge off' from the times youve been frantically running for your life and stratigizing in the midst of chaos. But thats exactly it, this game is all about patience, strategy, and reading everything you come across! I really must say, the love and attention to detail that was so carefully thought out, the little tasteful nods to classic horror games is also something I as a horror connoisseur can very much appreciate. (Silent hill/Resident evil being a main important staple growing up for me)

This game isnt one to make you always feel completely helpless either, even if it really feels like it 😅 if youre familiar with soulslike games, you'll notice as you play you start to actually progress more as you fail, you will also get a little more stronger, faster, and creative in the way you approach situations. 👍

Now idk if this was intentional or not, my first impression of seeing the style of the game was Playstation 2. Graphically the aesthetic and design choice was peak, i have such an appreciation and comfy feel for it.
However, i really do believe this game is different and unique compared to other NSFW games that you would normally see on steam, everyone seems to love the overdone VNs/Hentai/puzzle/point click 🙄🤭 but theres not enough horror nsfw love, especially one done in this style.

I really love games that have replayability to it. i feel like over time its become more of an aquired taste for individuals. I have noticed alot of its complaints are that people think its too hard or dont like the repetitive aspect of the game and I can totally understand that. This game is not built for everyone. The game also still has its obvious bugs and flaws, but that doesnt take away from the really good work that was still done on the game regardless. it may not seem like it has a ton of variety to offer, (nsfw wise) I do think its very important to remind others that this game was also made as a solo dev, one person that had limitations and really pushed to bring their creations to life with passion and love. and for what ONE person managed to accomplish in a game like this? i truthfully think its an incredible start for what MORE nsfw games should strive to achieve more of, which is not being afraid to try new things!!

I am currently still playing through the game and do plan to see if I can get all the achievements for it! in terms of story so far, Idk what i expected but i did not expect the plot to actually have some kind of interesting depth and lore to it especially for a 🌽 game, really looking forward to seeing where the story leads from here and i will update again after my completion! 👍

IT IS NOT a Survival Horror game, or really even a real horror game.

IT IS NOT a Boomer Shooter

IT IS A DUNGEON CRAWLER WITH REALTIME COMBAT, GUNS, AND A "SURVIVAL HORROR GAME THEME.", The combat is modeled more after early 2000s shooters like Time Splitter rather than any 90s Boomer Shooters.

IT IS a genuine game. It's not a lazy piece of porn that pretends to be a real game.

IT IS genuine porn. The porn is not a superficial add-on to bait people into buying it like a CERTAIN solo indie horror game dev on steam that I WILL NOT NAME.

IT IS a porn game where the porn has genuine story, lore, and gameplay purpose that does nothing but BENIFIT it as both porn and a video game.

IT IS NOT easy in the beginning. The game expects you to learn how to play properly, learn how to use all the mechanics properly, and even grind some.

IT IS a game that gets easier as it goes. By the end you will be a literal unstoppable GOD.

IT IS NOT linear.

IT IS a game that uses procedural based dungeons.

IT IS NOT a bug free game

IT IS NOT a broken game

IT IS NOT a bad game.

IT IS a good game.



Gameplay is basically this: Enter dungeon, down enemies, ♥♥♥♥ em to fully remove them from the floor, progress through 10 floors per level run to find as many items and resources as possible, get to the 10th and final floor of each run to collect an item you need several of to open the levels boss door and defeat her. You have to do the 10 floors multiple times over to get the item repeatedly to gather enough of it to unlock the door. So for example, on your first levels run, you need like 3 of them, so you go through the 10 floors, get the item on the 10th floor, immediately teleport back to the level start room, then back out the door back to the Spirals main hub, do your resource, stat, and merchant management stuff, then load back into the level to have it procedurally create the next 10 floors so you can reach that new 10th floor to get that new item, rinse and repeat until you have the required number of the item, then but them on the boss door, beat the boss, then go back to the hub and enter the next level, rinse and repeat for 5 levels in total before you reach the finale event and finish the game. And yes, there is a Post-Game so that you can keep doing runs and upping your stats to a LUDICROUS degree. When you beat the game you get a gallery that has every enemy, character, and boss in the game.



The game has many, MANY sex animations, each intercourse animation has 3 to 6 different speeds of thrusting, which are all their own unique animations. In gameplay, all but I think 3 common enemies have at LEAST 2 different sex animations to choose from, either sex hitting it from the front, or sex hitting it from the back. Each boss other than the Tutorial boss has at LEAST 2 sex animations you HAVE to do when you defeat them, and I believe all of them have at least ONE sex animation if they kill you during the boss battle. From what I've seen, only ONE Boss has a sex animation when killing you during a level (Not during their boss fight), and it's the first levels boss, and it's an instant kill grab. Also, when you beat the game and unlock the gallery, almost every single character, monster, and boss in the game gets new sex animations, either unique ones or recycled animations from other characters/bosses/monsters. I'm not kidding when I say there is probably over 100 unique high quality hand made real time 3D animations in general, and well over a dozen characters, monsters, and bosses to do them with.



When it comes to fetishes, this game is relatively vanilla and tame. What you can expect is:

The reason for the lack of variation and lack of things like Paizuri and anal is story based, as to "purify" a demon you need to blow your load either in their vagina or their mouth.



The game is amazing, it does respect your time but it also expects you to respect it's mechanics and not play foolishly and carelessly. It expects you to do the things it teaches you to do. Doing anything less than what it tells you will end up hindering your experience.



The story is really good, I digged all the characters, and the twists and choices were nice too. I also liked both the Good Ending and The Bad Ending. The voice acting is also really great and the game is entirely voice acted, other than the protagonist you are essentially role playing as.



For the price you are paying you are getting an ABSURD amount of content at a quality level that next to no porn games at this price point come to. Most porn games around this price are either pixel art, hand drawn, or AI, and a lot of them either have very little animations, lackluster animations, or no animations. And the ones that are 3D are either lazy, are asset flips with really lazy "realistic" bimbo models bought straight of the Unreal or Unity store and still have all the caveats of the 2D games I already mentioned. Another big deal is that most of the games at this price point AREN'T EVEN FINISHED, THEY ARE EARLY ACCESS, and a lot of them on the market have either already had their development abandoned before being finished or will in the future. This game, however IS A FULLY COMPLETED GAME. You are not buying a game that needs "finishing" or heavy overhauls and patches, it just needs a few touch ups and a little love.



Here's a little bonus on my review that I like to do on my porn game reviews when parodies of licensed designs and characters are in the game, I am now going to list as many of the designs from other games that the enemies that you have sex with this game are knock-offs of (That I recognize), so beware of these SLIGHT SPOILERS:

The "moving living statue/mannequin" archtype from many games, that only move when you are not seeing them in your vision. The most recent horror game to have them are the mannequins from the expansion to Resident Evil 8, but in this they are concrete statues, not mannequins or dolls.

The famous typical Victorian era British/English ghost woman in a nightgown archetype

The mythological "Specters", which are a European mythological creature that Europeans used to believe in, around the times they believed in Werewolves, Vampires, and Ghouls. They follow their historical myth design, that they are spectral ghost women with translucent glowing white ghostly bodies, with glowing blue eyes, flowing translucent spectral hair, and a spectral skeleton inside their ghost body that you can visibly see.

The game also has 7 bosses that I will not spoil.

Gooner game. But genuinely good.

What the negative reviews fail to mention is that you are fully allowed to run away and KEEP EVERYTHING you gathered. Loot respawns each run so you are never obligated to just send it. Purifying the gals gives you gold but you have to be smart about which ones you do it to. The tougher the enemy the more they are worth. The games tells you that enemies will get up but they are down for 1-2 minutes at a time. Running away is a very valid option and you're even told in the very beginning that you will need to hide.

Also the beginning merchant will give you a weapon if you have no gold or weapons.

The game is hard.
The game takes strategy .
Listen to the tips and you will be fine.
People don't read and ignore the things the game straight up tells you.
