Thank you all for the feedback you've been giving me. I hope it's extremely important to me.

I've already started working on improvements, updating mechanics and making some elements of the story more evident, such as the fact that the sword can't destroy enemies. There's a specific reason. It's my fault that some things aren't explained well during the demo's narrative.

The idea is to make a game that, although it has some metroidvania elements, is a precise platform game. I'm available to listen to everyone and together we can create an enjoyable experience in the Tootum game. Thank you all.

So, I think your game has potential, but right now... I didn't love it. Here's why... 1. I'm okay dying in one hit, but that respawn time is too long. At first, it isn't horrible, but if this is the kind of game that's going to be "die, retry, die again, retry..." over and over, that's going to get frustrating quickly. 2. The sword only stuns small enemies but can kill a boss. Huh? Why not let us kill small enemies? It'll add another fun mechanic to your game. 3. The boss battle felt glitchy, was simple...

A short review

I want to leave a comment here, although English is not my main language, because I hope this game does very well. The graphics are good, but from a gamer's perspective, it's not an attractive game. I explain the reasons. 1. The respawn time is too long. When I died, the respawn time was too long, which made me lose the desire to continue, and that is frustrating. Lose stars on death?

There doesn't seem to be much incentive to collect stars if you lose them all every few seconds. The engine seems mostly functional so far, but I'm not fond of the unrebindable controls, it's weird that the attack does almost nothing against enemies, and at one point I got a dialogue box stuck on screen and could only remove it by restarting the game....
