Plans after Release

The race has now begun, but we at Korion haven't yet reached the finish line in development. We will continue to be here for bug fixes and small improvements. If you find any bugs, please let us know. We also plan to enhance the AI, so keep an eye out for the update. Since we want to ensure multi-platform online gaming, updates might take a little longer to ensure they can be released simultaneously across all platforms....

Good kart game but a little basic

I like this little kart game but it is very basic and too easy to complete. Would like to see different speeds for each grand prix like 50cc, 100cc, 150cc for each difficulty, getting faster karts for each cc and harder races. The singleplayer game can be completed in less than one hour as it currently is....

Absolutely wonderful addition to the Moorhuhn Kart series!
The visuals, controls, characters, art style, it is all fantastic.
It brings back quite a few items from previous games in the series, especially MHK 1, like the 16T.

The tracks contain lots of references to previous games in the general Moorhuhn franchise, some even just being locations from said games, like Moorhuhn X, Crazy Chicken Tales, the Jump'n Run games, and even the Sven games!
All the tracks are a joy to play!

Multiplayer is an important aspect of the game, and it is also done extremely well, there are a few issues i have with how the tracks are selected, but other than that, it is a great experience.

Highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Moorhuhn and the Kart Racing series and even those just getting introduced to them!

Great! My Homie Raudies from Germany told me about this game he was playing a long time ago.
Esport getting stressful for the oldsters, time to retire on Moorhuhn and have some fun! :golden:

Cons:

❌ No difficulty selection available
🤖 Bot Opponents – Dumb and scattered across the track. No real sense of intense racing battles
🗺 Track Design – Often unclear where you're supposed to go
🚧 Obstacles – If you crash into something or take a wrong turn, getting out is slow and frustrating
🏎 Track Out of Bounds – If you fall off, it takes way too long to get back
♻️ Reset Button – It takes too long to activate and respawns you in a disadvantageous position, often near obstacles, making it hard to get back into the race (it worked well in Moorhuhn Kart 2 original)
🎵 Soundtrack – Feels like it was generated by AI or taken from a free open-source library. Moorhuhn Kart 2 original had much better, catchy tracks that stuck in your head all day
📦 Loot crates contain a very limited selection of weapons or boosts
🐌 Slow Start – Karts accelerate too sluggishly
🔄 No 'Retry' option in the menu - you can't restart a track quickly

Compatibility with SteamDeck:

🎮 The game frequently freezes when exiting on Steam Deck
🎮 Steam Deck Controls – The default controls feel outdated. Nobody maps the gas button to A anymore. Shoulder buttons are much more comfortable
🎮 Steam Deck Control Issues – Changing the controls is really difficult, the interface doesn't respond to the "A" button. It really takes a lot of time to properly configure the controls to your liking

Suggestions:

⚡ Add a unique superpower for each character
🎭 Add character reactions when someone gets caught in their trap
🚀 Add more power-ups. E.g: A homing rocket that targets the player in first place (just like in Moorhuhn Kart 2 original)
🎵 Improve the game's soundtracks

Bugged Achievement 'Down to the Wire'

It looks like the achievement 'Down to the Wire' is bugged. I've completed multiple races with less than 0.5 seconds between the second place and me, but the achievement remains locked. Here are some screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/lO4odLZ

Achievements bugged?

I've tried to get the "Finish/Win any track without collecting an item" achievements and I meticulously made sure I wouldn't even come close to any item box on the track "Spoohooky". I've made it, in first place as well, but the achievements haven't unlocked. Is this a bug or have I misunderstood the objective? Any insight would be awesome, thank you! This game has been such a delight so far and it brought back so many memories. Thank you so much!...
