The music is great, the style is on point, and I love the premise BUT there were so many little things that got on my nerves. The combat is based on a metronome in the corner of the screen that wasn't explained unlike all the stuff up to that point was. The first real enemy was only able to be attacked safely 1/4th of the time, which is not a fun intro to combat, especially when you have to hit it for a sliver of its health during that window. There were multiple times where the intent was to have a puzzle but it was more of a timing check if you could swap the gravity beam between places fast enough, which is IMPOSSIBLE with the default sensitivity on controller. If you are going to support something, make it so you can actually complete the game with it? It would have been nicer if the music either mellowed out or got a little quieter when not in combat because it seems to only be one song per zone and even if it's a minute or two long, you will find it grating listening to it while stationary in a room dealing with the mentioned timing checks. I remember watching a devlog/update video where they said something along the lines of "not enough people were using the gravity shift mechanic for movement" but most of the rooms have weirdly angled geometry that doesn't make it easy. It feels tonally disconnected. I have more tiny things that would overall improve my experience and maybe i'll try again later but I don't think the intended experience was to be frustrated the entire time.

A very refreshing game with lots of interesting mecanics; a great mix between puzzle games, 3D plateformer, metroidvania and even rhythm games which gives a really enjoyable and original result
