I laughed more than I care to admit playing this because of all the retail jokes. Fantastic.
Beyond that, the gameplay is fun. Scanning, matching, sorting...it has a lot of those speedy decisions to make for optimization but not so much that it slows you down. The graphics and music are fun as well.

Overall, this is a chill game with a lot of heart and humor.

Simple game, reminds me of the early 2000's, I like it.

One of my most anticipated releases this year! So cute and cozy, (who knew working retail could be so relaxing!). The attention to detail is so gorgeous fun, and the humor has me giggling constantly. I find the game play loop to be really addicting, it's definitely a practiced skill which I find SO satisfying. I sunk an embarrassing amount of hours in't the demo alone before release and highly recommend the Overtime shift if you're competitive even just against yourself!

TOTALLY AWESOME! Now look, you definitely have to have at least a touch of specific special variation of the 'Tism in order to enjoy this game. Most so-called "normal" people probably will find it boring or a drag; you have to be a certain kind of person to enjoy this game, haha. And if you are that person: Congrats! This game is completely addicting, and you will lose several hours of your life to it. Really fun to run against the clock and try to get the highest score possible. 10/10, Tickles My Brain.

I rarely write reviews, but this game truly stands out. It has straight forward mechanics with the challenge of matching each item's category and shape to rack up bonus points making it very addictive. Then you have the employees in the backroom each with their own personality and you can sense everyone is just trying to get through the daily grind. Honestly, it's such an adorable and cozy game that really nails the vibe, and as someone who spent high school working as a cashier at a grocery store, I’m totally qualified to approve of this game.

If you are still thinking about it just download the demo and try it! It's not like downloading 100 gigs like some "AAA" games.

So much bang for your buck! Hours of fun. I love simulation games and this hit the spot. Can’t wait to see what the devs do next. I’d happily pay more for more content, too, like an expanded/revised storyline or more to do in between shifts. Played on Steam Deck and it worked pretty well too.

The developer released another patch on 1.12.25, so updating my review! It was previously crashing, but they've released 2 hotfixes that seems to have resolved the issue. With that I do recommend this game now! It's simple, but quirky and when you don't have a lot of time to play a game that requires just that it's a lot of fun and I've been enjoying myself! :)
